Security ​

This section explains what Omnyx will never do, how to store your seed safely, and how to strengthen protection with device-level and hardware options.

What Omnyx Will Never Do ​

  • We will never ask for your seed phrase, passphrase, or private keys.
  • We will never ask you to install remote-access software to “help recover” funds.
  • Beware of phishing sites and social media impostors. Many wallets explicitly warn users there is no phone support and phone numbers online are often scams. Keep to official channels.

⚠️ If anyone asks for your seed, passphrase, or private keys claiming to be Omnyx support, it is a scam.

Seed Storage ​

  • Write it down on paper or another offline physical medium.
  • Store it in a place where only you have access. Do not share it with anyone. Legitimate support will never ask for your seed phrase.
  • Never save your seed phrase on a computer, phone, cloud storage, or take screenshots — hackers can steal it.

PIN & Biometrics ​

  • PIN is mandatory.
  • Biometrics (Face ID, fingerprint, Windows Hello, etc.) are optional and device-dependent. We recommend using it to increase security.

Hardware Wallets ​

Not supported yet; planned for the future.
