Importing an Existing Wallet ​

Omnyx Wallet allows you to import an existing wallet in several ways:

  1. Seed Phrase
  • Enter your existing seed phrase exactly as given to restore your wallet.
  • If your wallet was created with an additional passphrase (25th word), you must enter it as well. Without it, you will recover a completely different wallet.
  1. Private Key
  • ⚠️ Be extremely cautious: a private key is even more sensitive than a seed phrase. Anyone with your private key has full access to your funds.
  • Always paste it only into the official Omnyx Wallet app or website.

Security Recommendations ​

  • Never import a wallet on a public or shared device.
  • Verify that you are using the official Omnyx Wallet app or website — phishing clones can steal your keys.
  • Once imported, immediately set up a strong PIN and enable biometrics for extra protection.
